Fur-Soft has been developed in cooperation with a local furrier and
has been in production at that site for the last six years. The manual processes of fur receipt and delivery have been automated is such a way that they are far more efficient and accurate than previous manual and automated systems.
Fur-Soft is the result of several years of cooperation between a
well-established furrier in the Mid-South area and our software
developers. Each aspect of the day-to-day operations of the
furrier has been studied and implemented within the software to
provide the most efficient and flexible solution possible. The
resultant software has then been tested and used by the furrier to
verify that the solution is both efficient and accurate. In
effect, the furriers have designed the software.
As additional furriers have adopted the program and provided
their feedback and varied approaches to the day-to-day operation of
the program, their suggestions have been analyzed and incorporated
into the system. This has produced a software product that is
both flexible and efficient.
